Working hard right now on a new poem! I don’t have a laptop or my notebook, just the back of an old envelope and a pen I found rummaging around in the bottom of my handbag!

But once the creativity flows, it can’t be stopped by such small details, right?  I find myself diverted from the tasks I had set myself for the day by words which tumble and jumble around my mind.

I have filled every side of the envelope and find frustration taking over. Until I got some disappointing news. Does that stop the process? No way! Feeling fed up is an inspiration to me.  Apparently!  It drives me toward the words.  The images.

As soon as it’s written and edited I will let you know.

In the mean time I would love to hear what helps others write! Do you have to be in a particular mood or even a particular place to get creative?

Going back to the envelope now! Let’s get writing!
